Tales From The Dark Multiverse: Blackest Night Will Debut DC’s Limbo Lantern

DC has announced a new Tales From the Dark Multiverse title from writer Tim Seeley and artist Kyle Hotz, which will explore a twisted version of 2009’s Blackest Night crossover event.

Blackest Night was a DC Comics crossover event by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis that saw Nekron, the embodiment of death and creator of the black power rings, attempting to wipe out all live in the universe. Seeley and Hotz’ version of the story will take place in the Dark Multiverse, which was introduced in 2017’s Dark Knights: Metal event. This particular version will see Sinestro become the “Limbo Lantern,” a cross between a White and Black Lantern, and team-up to give the world one final chance after Nekron’s victory.
