Boba Fett Concept Art For Canceled ‘Star Wars 1313’ Game Resurfaces

Concept art from the canceled Star Wars: 1313 game featuring Boba Fett has surfaced online.

Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back introduced audiences to the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who instantly became a favorite character to fans across generations. The popular bounty hunter was once going to be a subject of a game called Star Wars: 1313, but the project was canceled years ago and fans have only been able to get a glimpse at what could have been through concept artwork.

The game would have followed Boba Fett as he travels through the underground world of Coruscant, the city-covered planet that served as the seat of government for the Galactic Republic and the Empire. Now, concept art featuring Boba Fett that is said to come from the axed Star Wars game gives fans a look at the bounty hunter on Level 1313 of the planet.

While Star Wars: 1313 may have been canceled, another bounty hunter has emerged as a popular character following the debut of Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. The Star Wars series was written by Jon Favreau, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is also on board as a co-executive producer.

Dave Filoni directed the first episode of The Mandalorian and additional episodes of the Star Wars series were helmed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard, Dope director Rick Famuyiwa, and Jessica Jones director Deborah Chow.

The Mandalorian season one is now available exclusively on Disney Plus.
