Concept art from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings features a scrapped Deadpool cameo.
It’s been known for a while that Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool will be jumping from Fox’s X-Men universe to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A third film is currently in development, with Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin penning the script. Many Marvel fans believe Deadpool will make his MCU debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but Reynolds has been shooting that down. Given Marvel’s history, Deadpool will probably turn up in another Marvel project before his solo film, and concept art reveals it might’ve been in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings concept art comes from Andrew Kim and sees Deadpool fight Proxima Midnight at the Golden Daggers Club. Of course, in the finished film, we ended up with the return of Abomination, who took on Wong. You can check out the concept art below.
