Disney announced a recent release date shuffle which includes two unspecified Marvel Studios films.
Release date delays are to be expected at this point, with movie studios reshuffling their schedules during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, things appear to be heading back to normal, at least in the United States, with most theaters open and dropping mask mandates for fully-vaccinated people. It’s been almost two years since a new Marvel Studios film hit theaters, but once Black Widow hits, it will be non-stop, with three more MCU films coming in the fall.
On Friday, Disney shared an update on their future films further down the line. On the Marvel Studios side, two unspecified films were delayed. The October 7, 2022 film will now hit on October 6, 2023, while the film that was originally going to arrive on November 3, 2023, is now set for November 10, 2023. While we don’t know which films these release dates could be tied to, they might be for Fantastic Four and Blade.
