But who will she play?
Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney Plus has added PEN 15 star and creator Maya Erskine to the cast.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is getting even bigger, as the show has recruited yet another star to its already impressive roster of actors. It was only in March that the upcoming Ewan McGregor series added a whole group of stars including Eternals‘ Kumail Nanjiani and Joel Edgerton, but now Pen 15 star and creator Maya Erskine has also joined the ranks of the Star Wars show for Disney Plus.
As per Deadline, Pen 15 and Plus One star Maya Erskine has joined the project fronted by Ewan McGregor in a currently unknown role. Her work has already been met with critical acclaim, even winning an emmy back in 2019 for PEN 15. Many fans are speculating that lightsaber-wielding characters like the Inquisitors may have a role in the show thanks to Moses Ingram‘s recent comments. So who knows, it’s possible Maya Erskine could be pitted against Ewan McGregor when Obi-Wan Kenobi eventually arrives on our screens.
