‘Invincible’: Steven Yeun Begins Voice Work For Season 2

Steven Yeun has officially started work on the second season of Amazon’s second season of Invincible.

The Invincible animated series led by Steven Yeun was a surprising hit for Amazon, so much so that the studio renewed the series for two more seasons. Given how much material there is in the comics from creator Robert Kirkman, fans are anxious to see Mark Grayson’s superhero journey continue. Since the renewal from Amazon a year ago, it’s been a little unclear where season two has been in production until now.

The official Invincible account dropped a very exciting update on Twitter, with a video of Mark Grayson voice actor Steven Yeun in the booth getting ready to record lines for the upcoming season. There’s currently no word on when season two will hit Amazon Prime Video. In the meantime, you can check out the latest update below.

Here is the official synopsis for the Amazon Prime Video series:

INVINCIBLE is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems. From Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. Coming to Prime Video in 2021.

Invincible features the voice talents of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandrah Oh, Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, and Malese Jow.
