James Gunn Teases Epic Scale Of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’

James Gunn recently offered an update on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 with filming on the Marvel Studios movie beginning sometime this year.

Writer and director James Gunn has plenty of projects on his plate in both the DC and Marvel universes. A lot of the hype is currently on The Suicide Squad, thanks to two trailers that came out recently ahead of its HBO Max and theatrical release in August. Gunn is also currently working on DC’s Peacemaker, but after that, he will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

In addition to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn is also involved with a Holiday Special for Disney Plus that will be filmed during the sequel. As production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 inches closer, Gunn shared an update by teasing the scale of the upcoming sequel on Twitter:

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Sean Gunn. The cast was last seen in Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the synopsis:
