
Pierce Brosnan gears up as Doctor Fate for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam in this concept design.
Recently, Warner Bros. Pictures released an exciting reel teasing their 2022 slate of films centered on superheroes from DC Comics. The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are all set to bring audiences further into the lore of DC Comics, and things couldn’t be more exciting for fans. Black Adam in particular is quite intriguing, thanks to the involvement of its star Dwayne Johnson as well as other cast members including Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.

Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate will also be joined by other members of the Justice Society of America, including Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo) and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell). Here is the synopsis for Black Adam:
“Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods – and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.”
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, DC’s Black Adam stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui are also on board in undisclosed roles. Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions are producing the movie with Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo. FlynnPictureCo’s Scott Sheldon serves as an executive producer.
