See Robert Pattinson’s Cowl Get The Iconic White Eyes In ‘The Batman’

He’ll be keeping an eye on Gotham’s underworld.

A recent concept shows Robert Pattinson with the iconic white eyes in the Dark Knight’s cowl for The Batman.

While The Batman seems to be taking a realistic, but dark approach to the legend of the Caped Crusader, a recent concept for the vigilante reveals Robert Pattinson donning a cowl featuring the iconic white eyes that fans have wanted to see in live-action for decades. The film is obviously taking its own unique approach to the legendary characters residing in Gotham City, but it’s hard to deny that leaning into the comic-accurate look for the Caped Crusader really suits Pattinson’s brooding Bruce Wayne.

The concept stems from Instagram artist Datrintiart, and reveals a few different versions of how the hero’s cowl could change in the film. In the caption, the artist explained that the ears fall out a little at the sides, similar to how he looked in the early years after his arrival in Detective Comics #27. Since the first trailer for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman showed off the low-fi Bat-Cave setup, it wouldn’t be surprising if we see Bruce getting hands on with creating his costume. Do we need the white eyes in The Batman? Are you excited to see Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight? What else are you looking forward to from the Matt Reeves film? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

The plot of The Batman is being kept a closely guarded secret, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as Gotham City’s Dark Knight. The Batman will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films starring Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, Robert Pattinson stars as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to open in theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
