Lobo takes the fight to Clark Kent in a new clip from ‘Superman: The Man of Tomorrow’.
A new clip from the upcoming animated movie Superman: The Man of Tomorrow shows Clark Kent fight the intergalactic bounty hunter, Lobo.
Following the end of the previous slate of DC animated movies with Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, Superman: The Man of Tomorrow seeks to explore a brand new universe of characters. And a brand new clip sees Clark Kent fight Lobo in Metropolis, with the Main Man showing off some of his cosmic weaponry against the Kryptonian. Fans last saw Lobo in the second season of the Krypton TV series, played by Emmett Scanlan.
The new clip comes courtesy of ComicBook.com and shows off Lobo (voiced by The Walking Dead‘s Ryan Hurst) taking on Clark mid-air. Clearly this fight takes place before the Kryptonian dons the iconic blue and red costume, since he’s dressed in a jacket and jeans with a set of flight goggles to protect his identity. Lobo isn’t the only intergalactic character appearing in the film, since Martian Manhunter also has a role alongside Superman. The new clip perfectly captures some of Lobo’s eccentric fighting style, as he shoots a wave of bugs at the hero which hit Clark with an electric shock. Take a look at Lobo in Superman: The Man of Tomorrow below.
What do you make of the new clip? Are you excited to see Superman: The Man of Tomorrow? Sound-off in the comments!
