Timothee Chalamet looks brilliant as Robin for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman this brand new piece of fan art.
With Robert Pattinson’s The Batman almost done casting, one role that remains to be unoccupied is that of Robin. Fans have thrown in several names regarding who they want to see alongside Robert Pattinson’s Batman when he goes up against Paul Dano’s Riddler: Timothee Chalamet. One of the most unique actors to grace the silver screen this decade, Timothee Chalamet has taken the indie world by storm. And of course, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is filled with cast members who are more than well acquainted with the indie scene. In fact, Robert Pattinson and Timothee Chalamet recently shared the screen as enemies in Netflix’s The King.
For now, it hasn’t been announced if Timothee Chalamet will be playing Robin in Robert Pattinson’s The Batman, but that hasn’t stopped fans from creating fan art of the young indie actor as everyone’s favorite sidekick. This artwork by digital artist Christ Ave reveals what Timothee Chalamet could look like as Robin for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.
The fan art showcases a Robin that takes direct influence from the Titans suit, which is just a modern day reinterpretation of the classic Robin suit found in early Batman comics. Timothee Chalamet would certainly be a good sidekick to Robert Pattinson’s Batman, but he has not been cast as the character. There isn’t any indication that director Matt Reeves or Robert Pattinson are looking for a Robin, though it would be great to see him on the big screen after such a long time. The last time we saw Robin on the silven screen was back when Batman & Robin hit cinemas in 1997. Since then, we’ve gotten a better caliber of writers and actors, so we’re sure that Timothee Chalamet, if offered the role, would do the role of Robin justice.

Full plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and features a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman will star Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, Jayme Lawson as Bella, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Peter Sarsgaard in an undisclosed role. Recently, Colin Farrell was reportedly in talks to play the Penguin.
The Batman will be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.
