Tom Holland Teases The Huge Stunts In Sony’s Uncharted’

It sounds like ‘Uncharted’ will be quite the spectacle.

Uncharted star Tom Holland teased the huge action set pieces which he’s worked on for the upcoming Sony film.

Audiences might have to wait a little longer for Uncharted to arrive, but Tom Holland is excited to reveal the high-octane stunts he’s been working on for the upcoming film. Obviously, most fans are excited to see the star return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man 3 due to the ongoing rumors about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s involvement in the sequel, but Uncharted has been in the works at Sony for so long, it’ll be exciting for the film to finally get in the spotlight.

During an appearance on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast, Tom Holland opened up about working on Uncharted, noting that it includes “the biggest action sequences I’ve ever been a part of.” Fans will have to wait a little longer for the Sony film, as it was recently pushed back following more disruption to the TV and Film industry due to the pandemic. But Holland also revealed that he ended up with so many minor injuries working on the stunts, saying “The cuts and bruises and bangs I got from dangling off of wires and falling off things was ridiculous.”

Based on the PlayStation video game series of the same name, the film is set to chronicle the first encounter between Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake and the fortune seeker and businessman Victor Sullivan. The film is reportedly influenced by a sequence in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Directed by Venom helmer Reuben Fleischer from a script written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins, Uncharted is being produced by Sony PlayStation Productions, with Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan producing alongside Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad.
